Using the Deck

Ways of playing with the Players Deck 

The following list a series of games that have been developed from open jams with these very cards. They are specifically for L basing  on hands and feet (the orange and red cards).

Name of the game: De Ja Vu

Cast: 1 base, 1 flyer & 1 spotter is advised

Pick one card either from the red or orange stack.

  • Your challenge is to start in the position on the card and complete a 360 degree rotation that can be sagittal, coronal or transverse (with the option of all three) back to the original position.
  • There is an option of using other positions to aid your transition and to add to this challenge you are limited to a maximum of three poses not including the cards selected.

Name of the game: Forward and Back Wards / Newton’s Cradle

Cast: 1 base, 1 flyer & 1 spotter is advised

Pick any number of cards from the red or orange stack.

  • Your challenge is to combine the cards together into a sequence that can then be reversed.
  • There is an option of using other positions to aid your transition and to add to this challenge you are limited to a maximum of three poses between each card and this does not include the cards selected.

Name of the game: Repeat Cycle / Washing Machine

Cast: 1 base, 1 flyer & 1 spotter is advised

Pick any number of cards from the red or orange stack.

  • Your challenge is to put together a sequence that can be repeated into a cycle or ‘washing machine’.
  • There is an option of using other positions to aid your transition and to add to this challenge you are limited to a maximum of three poses between each card and this does not include the cards selected.

Name of the game: Flyer Ping Pong

Cast: 2-3 Bases, 2 flyers and spotters are advised

Pick two cards either from the red or orange stack or both.

  • Your challenge is for both flyers to start in the positions on the cards (one position one flyer) and swap bases, with the option of using middle base, ending on the opposite base & flyer in the other position of the cards picked.


Name of the game: Flyer Hopscotch / Pass the Flyer

Cast: As many bases as you want, 1flyer and a spotter is advised

Pick as many cards from the red and orange stack.

  • Your challenge pass the flyer from one base to another into the positions selected from the cards.
  • There is an option of using other positions to aid your transition and to add to this challenge you are limited to a maximum of three poses not including the cards selected.


Name of the game: Double Base Flyer Flow

Cast: 2 bases, 1 flyer and a spotter is advised

Pick as many cards from the red or orange stack.

  • Your challenge is to transition from one card to another using two bases working simultaneously to support the flyer.
  • There is an option of using other positions to aid your transition and to add to this challenge you are limited to a maximum of three poses between each card and this does not include the cards selected.

Name of the game: 1 base pyramid

Cast: 1 base, 2 flyers and spotters are advised

Pick one card from both the orange and red stack.

  • Your challenge is to combine both cards onto the one base, to create a static pyramid.
